Welcome!
My name is Spencer, artist and owner of Spencer Welch Studios, and I am so glad you are here. I have been creating portraits and paintings and drawings and things for my clients and collectors for about 8 years now, and it is truly a blessing and an honor. Making art is my passion, deep down in my bones, and sharing it with the world is something I care deeply about. My work often encompasses the unique perspective of motherhood, from my own experiences and the experiences of other women. It is a witness to the simple and mundane moments in life spent doing the most courageous thing, raising our babies. However, I also take inspiration from nature, learning from the seasons and colors and moments that God so delicately created. Whether you connect with a portrait of a nursing mother, or a small work that celebrates a beautiful landscape, or possibly a child simply running through a field of wild flowers; each piece is uniquely crafted with my whole heart.
