Taken from another book titled On Flowers by Amy Merrick, this particular garden and cottage really drew me in.
I wondered what the story was, a romance maybe? Who would live in such a beautiful place…I thought maybe a woman who loved to read, spending her time with an open book in the garden. Or maybe a writer, in his old age, sitting at his desk with stacks of manuscripts. Or maybe an artist, like me, who carries their easel and paints into the garden to document the flowers and plants that grew around them.
