My husband and I planned a trip to Colorado and Utah to visit some of the best off-roading in the country.
We drove our Nissan Xterra across the country, kids in tow, through red cliffs and rocks made of sienna.
We spent our days adventuring through the Moab desert, stayed near the Colorado River, and I painted the silent mountains that surrounded us.
This painting was created from a photo I took on our drive through the desert. It was one of the only spots you could see the Colorado River, and I was in love with the hint of blue amidst the red landscape.
