My husband and I planned a trip to Colorado and Utah to visit some of the best off-roading in the country.
We drove our Nissan Xterra across the country, kids in tow, through red cliffs and rocks made of sienna.
We spent our days adventuring through the Moab desert, stayed near the Colorado River, and I painted the silent mountains that surrounded us.
This painting was created while sitting on the edge of the cliffside where we were staying in the desert. It was early morning, no one else was awake yet, just me and the silence of the desert.
